Abstract
Transparent solar panel are the latest technology in the renewable energy resource which creates a minimum of impact to the environment and help to improve the energy consumption for office building since most of the power usage are from the office buildings. There are a lot of benefits in the implementation of transparent solar panel in office building, but there are several barriers that restrain the implementation of transparent solar panel in office building. Therefore, the solutions to encourage the implementation has been studied so that more implementation of transparent solar panel will be applied in the property development industry specifically for office buildings. The purpose of this study is to improve the implementation of transparent solar panel by identifying the barrier and providing solution to implement transparent solar panel in office building. Quantitative research method has been adopted in this research study which to ask the experience respondent as in the developers that are related to the property development industry. By doing this research, it will understand the barrier of the implementation of transparent solar panel so that improve the implementation of transparent solar panel according to the barrier that property developers faced. Therefore, the increase in number of office building that implements the transparent solar panel in the future development within Malaysia.
