Abstract
Electronic tendering, or simply E-tendering, is a term used to describe the process of conducting a tender on the internet. Electronic submission of tender documents with communication support is possible with e-tendering systems. The global adoption of the Etendering system is expanding, notably because of its ability to assist decrease costs and waste. as well as modernise the tendering procedure. As the E-tendering method eliminates more of the conventional labour of QS, there are growing concerns that it may jeopardise the QS profession's viability, particularly for small businesses that still rely on paper-based BQ. This paper aims to assess the evaluation of essential performance features of E-tendering systems. The literature and existing E-tendering systems were used to compile a list of design features for E-tendering systems. At the same time, the effects of QS practice on the application of Etendering systems such as transformation in job scope, re-branding of quantity, globalisation, and so on. The research will then go through the ways of promoting the E-tendering system. A total of 150 questionnaire surveys were sent out to the target respondents, all of whom are currently employed as QS. The information will be gathered and analysed using descriptive statistics. The findings of this study are intended to encourage the construction sector to use the E-tendering approach in future projects.
