Abstract

The outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic has caused a significant impact on the global economy and industries. Hence, the aim of this research is to investigate the major challenges faced by the Malaysian construction industry due to the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic. In fact, the questionnaires were used to collect data for further analysis thus achieving the research objectives. Meanwhile, this research shall enable to figure out the challenges faced by Malaysian construction industry due to the outbreak of Covid-19, the effects of adopting new changes toward construction sector as well as the possible solutions to resolve and mitigate the impact of COVID-19 outbreak in Malaysia’s construction industry. Therefore, this research shall provide us with a deeper image towards the difficulties faced by Malaysian construction industry due to the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic. Moreover, this research shall be able to come out the possible solutions to resolve and mitigate the impact of COVID-19 outbreak in Malaysia’s construction industry. In short, this research is to gather the perceptions of Malaysian construction industry regarding to the challenges faced by them due to the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic
