Abstract

Malaysia has always been encountering water crisis and disruption from time to time. Since Malaysia is a country that have rain almost all year round, it had come into mind that what if we could utilize rainwater to reduce our usage of pipe water. This research would be focused on the rainwater harvesting system for low-rise residential buildings in Klang Valley only. For this research, it would also be carried out to understand the advantages, disadvantages and implementation status of rainwater harvesting system. Besides that, questionnaire would be distributed to a minimum of 180 respondents to carry out further investigations. After the all the data had been gathered, SPSS would be used to analyze the data. In short, this paper is mainly an overview of rainwater harvesting system for low-rise buildings in Klang Valley
