Abstract

Stock or inventory is one of the vital that must be practised to ensure the business make it smoothly. The separation of data about the stock from different locations will affect the shipments and often get delayed during shipping. The design of stock management must meet market requirements and support the company's strategic plan. The adequate of a stock management system to avoid overstocking and under-stocking of inventory. The system should be designed for the proper organization to reduce losses such as wastes and damages. The stock management system is targeted to the small or medium which are not have many warehouses. This system will be web-based and will run an Internet Browser and Internet connectivity for the functioning and to utilize resources efficiently by increasing our productivity and generates types of information that can be used for many purposes. The methodology is based on requirement system, generally requirement gathering techniques, software process model, functional requirements, non-functional requirements and viewpoint to make the system or project complete. This technique will carry out the development stage in accordance with the project's components. To accomplish the given goals, the scope of the project will include factors such as product addition, reporting, and payment. By and large, the testing phase was a success. We gained knowledge of the web application and its components, as well as how to utilise them. We also gained patience. The desired outcome of the system is that it would be user-friendly and readily manageable. Due to the fact that this is our first project, there are certain constraints. We were unable to satisfy all of our goals when the project started due to a lack of understanding in key disciplines and a lack of time
