Abstract
Industrial Revolution 4.0 is also known as Industry 4.0 (I4.0) is considered to be a combination of technology, which involves the physical, digital and biological worlds whereby it focuses on interconnection between real-time data, Internet of Things (IoT), machine learning and automation. Powerwell is trying to implement I4.0 as a method to skyrocket their business through improving their production workflow to automated. Therefore, design principles, I4.0 technology pillars as well as the impact or challenges that is faced when implementing I4.0 is realized. The incorporation of Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communication to connect between machines to obtain shared data along with information analysis on the data collected without any human interventions. To investigate Manufacturing Operation Management (MOM) and the improvement it brings to operation management in the manufacturing sector. Furthermore, to identify whether the implementation of M2M allows for automation of data transmission between mechanical and electronic data in Powerwell feasible and impact of MOM in terms of the productive efficiency
