Abstract

Social media and social media influencers have been significantly impacted by the rapid advancement of information and communication technology due to ongoing technological advancements and the Internet. The appropriateness and usefulness of social media influencers have increased as a result of internet development, and the internet is quickly replacing other forms of communication as the primary platform for internet users, especially young people. Social media influencers will use it to publish their behaviors and thoughts because it has a variety of features and functions that may be used. It is important to recognise the growing effect of social media influencers since they may have a beneficial or bad impact on young people's behaviors and thoughts. This study aims to determine the interaction between social media influencers and Malaysian youths as well as the impact that social media influencers have on the behaviors and thoughts among Malaysian youth. A survey questionnaire will be utilized as a quantitative tool to help this study reach its goals. A total of 200 respondents, all of whom were Malaysian youths between the ages of 17 to 25, participated in the survey. The results showed a considerable connection between Malaysian youths and social media influencers. Most respondents concurred that social media influencers have an effect on their behaviors and thoughts. The survey's findings can be used to advance this research and gain a better grasp of the topic. The conclusions of the research are discussed, followed by a summary of the recommendations
