Abstract

In order to fulfill the improving demands to increase the efficiency of the wireless power transfer, to increase the efficiency of power conversion and to miniaturize the size of the wireless power transfer device, the modification on the active power filter have been proposed with the combination of special features of the resonant rectifier. The efficiencies of the few parameters such as the resonant rectifier, DC-DC voltage regulator (buck regulator), and the overall circuits will be testing and recorded with software. The experimental results obtain will be used to compare with the current technologies efficiency of the wireless power transfer device to find out the ratio of the efficiency. SIMULINK/ MATLAB are the main simulation tools to stimulate and calculate the values of each part of the devices. In this project, the WPT receiver efficiencies was determined and divided into 3 parts. The efficiency for the resonant rectifier is 75%; while for the buck regulator 56%; while for the overall receiver, the efficiency is 58%.
