Abstract
The design in this collection reflect my desire to make visible a reality that surround us every day but it is usually hidden from sight. The concept of a common mycorrhizal network implies that the community's arrangement of plants and mycorrhizal fungi shares properties with other networks. A network is a system of nodes connected by links. The application of this network theory to this collection is to determine whether the motifs of a potential common mycorrhizal network are random or scale-free. Throughout the collection, I extend the boundaries of the underground system by producing new textures and new elements.
