Abstract

Medusa is a figure from Greek mythology, often depicted as a woman with snakes for hair and the ability to turn people to stone with her gaze. She was one of the three Gorgon sisters and was slain by the hero Perseus. However accoding to the myth, Medusa was cursed and turned into a monster, so she might have felt angry isolated, and resentful toward those who cursed her. In the fashion field, Medusa is often used as a symbol or motif in various designs. The iconic image of Medusa with her snakes for hair has been used in clothing, accessories, and even in fashion photography.
