A total of 20 Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology students, male (n=14) female (n=6) participated in this study and were divided into three group, control group (CG) (n=7), training group (TG) (n=6) and imagery training group (ITG) (n=7) randomly. All the groups went through pre-test and post-test. The experimental groups (ITG and TG) had gone through six weeks of intervention while the control group did not have any intervention throughout the six weeks period. The training was carried out for two times a week with 1 hour duration for both experimental groups. The participants during pre and post-test, they were tested in the forehand accuracy using the AAHPERD Groundstroke Test (reliability= 0.897). Data analysis showed that there was significant improvement in the accuracy (ρ=0.001) means scores of pre-test and post-test in the imagery training group (ITG). However, there were no significant difference in accuracy mean scores for pre-test and post-test between control group and training group.
