Abstract

Having a complete workable network setup requires deep research and study. The purpose of this project is to form a network by using different network equipment from different vendors. This is necessary to solve as it prevents vendor lock in and lack of options from one single vendor. This research also aims to understand the security features of the network equipment by analyzing what are the security measures come with the equipment and how it can prevent attacker from attacking the company network. The scope for this project is to identify network requirements, identify security features and needs, design the network topology, and check the network compatibility. In this project, tools like EVE-NG will be used to emulate the network environment and make sure the network design is workable before applying to the real-world environment. The main outcome of this project is to design a complete network based on the company requirement and environment, at the same time design a secure network to protect the network getting attack.
