Abstract

In this era of technology, most of the people are living in two worlds, the real world and the digital world. Therefore, the information and data of a person will be kept and stored inside the computer system too and a computer system also acts as a very huge role in terms of assets nowadays. For example, a company will be storing customer’s credentials and of course these data should be kept confidential and protected because it is very valuable and cannot be exposed to the attackers. Other than that, there are possible insider and also outsider attackers that are trying to steal these confidential data for their own benefits or a large amount of money. The aim of this research is to show how the honeypots are able to act as a prevention to attackers. We are also able to observe the activities of the attackers to enhance our security systems to prevent possible attacks in the future.
