Abstract

Road To P is a 3D Car Simulator game with using the steering wheel, pedals and clutch to play. The main purpose to develop this project is to let the players experience driving a car in a virtual world while using the steering wheel that looks like they are really driving a real car. The objective of making this game is to let the players learn driving skills in the virtual world then when they have their test in the real world, they will be able to more familiarize how to drive the car. It is a game based educational game which can let the players learn while playing the game. In this game, the game will have two modes which are driving skills test and the free driving mode test. Players are able to give the tutorial on how to play the game in the tutorial page provided in this game. In the driving skills test mode, there are 5 challenges needed to solve by the player to pass the mode. Furthermore, in the free driving mode, the players can drive the car around the city by following the rules on the road. All the rules in the skills driving mode will be referred to the Malaysia JPJ driving school test to develop the game. Besides that, the free driving mode will also follow the basic traffic rules in Malaysia to develop the game. In conclusion, this project is able to provide playable experience and educational elements to the players. This project will be targeted to audiences that have a taste in playing vehicle simulator games.
