Abstract

As a Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TARUC) student who frequently get news and announcement from the officials, as for me, I often face issues trying to get myself updated and always miss out some of the important news from campus due to the scattering of information online, which some could be found on social media platforms that branch out to many other location. Therefore, the idea of this project has been proposed for the purpose to understand if this issue does happen within TARUC for all the students and staff besides me and are they having difficulties and frustration trying to find the sources that they want, and if it does, hopefully this project could give this issue a solution by providing a platform to aggregate everything in one place. With this application being developed for the students and the staff, both sides will gain benefits during the time they manage and interact with the posts and activities respectively, as their burden can be eased and save time. This project can be decomposed into two sections which are the admins and the students. As for the admin side which I will be handling, there will be 4 modules to be covered which will be explained in detailed afterwards. Due to our knowledge and how the project workflow will be walked though, a software incremental model methodology together will some strategies, approaches, and techniques to gather information is used. This will be a project that handled by two members with our distribution of work clearly stated later.
