Abstract

In this digital age, people depend on the Internet to look for work opportunities by using recruitment websites. There are some issues with the hiring platform that lead to dissatisfaction of some users. Low hiring rates, lack of filter features, and lack of communication features are the issues that face by users. Some users also get lost to apply for a job because there are too many positions posted. Our project will improve the issues reported by implementing advertisement, filtering, chat, and job referee feature. The new features can attract more users as they can look for the appropriate jobs easily, especially for fresh graduates. Besides, the feature will fulfill the demands of the users and enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and satisfaction of the recruitment websites. The waterfall methodology will be the software development methodology of this system. The waterfall development method is a sequential process method that enables the mapping of advancements depending on subsequent stages. The modules of job search, job application, job offer, job recommendation, communication, and website review will be implemented into the system to encounter the issue reported by current E-recruitment users. The final system should have at least 95 % of functionalities that meet expectations. The system should benefit organizations and job seekers.
