Abstract
This study discovered Malaysian adults' perception towards using the Netflix series Bridgerton as an English language acquisition medium for adults and the motivation of Malaysian adults in acquiring English through the Netflix series Bridgerton. Four participants with a mean age of 32.5 and different demographic backgrounds are chosen and interviewed with a set of questions. It is concluded that Malaysian adults are more positively inclined towards utilising the Netflix series Bridgerton as an English language acquisition medium. Furthermore, there are indications that Malaysian adults are both intrinsically and extrinsically motivated in acquiring English through the Netflix series Bridgerton.
