This research paper will be analyzing two comic book movies that are more than meets the eye, which are Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. This research paper will be using moral philosophy and existentialist ideas such as utilitarianism and deontology to analyze the perceptions of characters’ actions, understand what it means to do good and do the right thing, and identify the existential impact of decisions made by significant characters.
