Abstract

A favorite vacation option for families, youngsters and thrill-seekers is amusement parks. Even while these parks provide amazing experiences, it is important to prioritize safety first. All guests are guaranteed a safe and enjoyable experience with well-maintained rides, well-trained employees, and strict awareness of safety procedures. This research study aims to find out the main reason causing the safety issues in Klang Valley amusement park to become serious. In addition, the research conceptual framework includes three independent variables, one dependent variable and one moderating variable. Quantitative method is also being implemented for the data collection process, where a questionnaire will be created by using Google Form and distributed to a total of 233 respondents that aged above 18 to 60 years old through online. The total of questionnaires has 24 items representing all variables. The three main independent variables that are used in this study are surveillance system, maintenance scheduling and virtual queue; while the dependent variable is customer safety and the moderating variable is employee training. By conducting this research study, visitors will be able to know the significant relationship of independent variables towards the dependent variable. Other than that, the amusement park operators are able to find out ways to prevent incidents regarding safety issues in the amusement park.
