Abstract
Due to the rapid growth of technologies, humans truly rely on electronic devices and networks in their daily life. Therefore, the best way to integrate into the current social norm is to use an online system. This online hostel management system is able to minimize human work and reduce the error made. This system consists of 8 modules, and there are 4 modules which are designed for hostel managers, including the admin module, noticeboard module, visitor pass module and report module. The Software Development Life Cycle is the methodology that is used to complete this project starting from requirement analysis and end with maintenance. Several tests such as unit tests, integration tests and others will also be conducted to ensure that the online system will perform well without error.
