Abstract

As of right now, Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT) is constantly upgrading its management system to modernise and provide a technological environment to grant students access to technology for the sake of achieving the objective of a sustainable campus, eventually replacing the manual system to reduce hassle and boost flexibility. As the number of students at the university are increasing rapidly, the current manual hostel management system used by the university is not able to afford these huge workloads. It also brings inconvenience since the students need to physically visit the hostel management office to do every single task. It is time-consuming and a repetition of data since all works are paper-based. As a result, the new hostel management system will operate entirely online, which enabling users to access services from anywhere at any time using their mobile device.
