Abstract

This project, "Strategic Internal Controls: Crafting a Chain of Command for Greater Efficiency," focuses on designing a structured chain of command within M-Pro Solutions Auto Care Sdn Bhd (M-PRO) to address current inefficiencies stemming from unclear operational hierarchies and roles. The study investigates the lack of standardized operating procedures (SOPs) and a formalized chain of command, which has led to significant operational challenges such as task overlap, communication breakdowns, and decreased employee satisfaction. By introducing a clear, hierarchical organizational structure, this project aims to enhance operational efficiency, clarify job roles, improve communication, and foster a culture of accountability and transparency within M-Pro. Through detailed analyses, the study draws on best practices in corporate governance, emphasizes the critical nature of SOPs, and leverages insights from successful implementations in similar industries. The proposed chain of command is expected to streamline operations, reduce redundancies, and enable more effective leadership development, thereby aligning daily operations with the company's strategic objectives for improved competitive advantage and sustainability
