Abstract

This study explores the relationships between university facilities, students' perceptions of Corporate Governance (CG) courses, career expectations, and academic performance at a Malaysian university. It aims to identify factors influencing student success in CG courses by examining the roles of facilities, lecturer expertise, and online resource availability, alongside the moderating effect of students' major areas of study. Through an analysis of empirical data and existing literature, the research highlights the dynamics affecting academic achievement, validating three out of four hypotheses. The findings underscore the significant impact of lecturer expertise and accessible online resources. Despite acknowledging limitations such as a narrow focus and potential biases in student perceptions, the study provides valuable insights for enhancing the quality of higher education in CG disciplines, offering practical recommendations for educational practitioners and policymakers
