Abstract

TARUMT is an institution of higher education and is vulnerable to cyber-attacks that could compromise sensitive data and result in financial loss. Traditional network security solutions can be expensive, as all security solutions on the market are perfect and have every different solution so making it can be used by any other instituion, which made it difficult for TARUMT to find a cost-effective solution to effectively protect its data. And the CYBERSAFEU project proposes an affordable cybersecurity solution tailored specifically for TARUMT. Our solutions involve an education website model with a focus on educating staff and students how to detect and prevent cyber-attacks. Investing in education can reduce the likelihood of a cyber attack and minimize the need for costly recovery solutions. Our education-based approach is able to let TARUMT staff and students take an active role in cybersecurity, creating a culture of security awareness and responsibility. Based on the conclusions we have reached, we believe that this system will be a good solution to simultaneously enable the spread of cybersecurity awareness and minimize the cost required to achieve affordability
