Abstract

Design and build a delivery robot that uses GPS technology to navigate effectively and autonomously is focused on by this project. The main objective is constructing prototypes of delivery robots to test research results and modify designs. The problem statement also highlights the need for reliable, uninterrupted ways to move goods around towns and cities, addressing environmental concerns. The conceptual design involves the design concept of the delivery robot, explanation of the final design of the delivery robot and the usage of components in the final design. Route optimization, obstacle detection, and real-time data processing are three main software aspects influencing the ability of the robot to efficiently deliver goods while cutting costs and decreasing in contamination of the environment with carbon output into atmosphere. The main conclusion to be drawn from this work is to indicate that GPS-enabled delivery robots have high potentials to improve last-mile delivery services, offering itself as a solution for future logistics challenges.
