Abstract
In order to address dress code violations in educational settings, this study introduces an innovative Clothing Detection System. It specifically addresses the need to uphold university dress code policies in order to maintain the esteemed reputation of the institution. The three primary modules of the system are Clothing Detection, which recognizes sophisticated apparel, Maintenance, which keeps track of dress codes and violations, and Security, which facilitates user registration. With the YOLOv8 algorithm at the heart of clothes detection, agile methodology allows for flexible project development. After being trained on the custom-selected image dataset, the system is put through a rigorous testing process to make sure it works well in academic settings and complies with regulations. The ultimate goal of the Clothing Detection System is to improve the general decorum and reputation of the academic institution by fostering in students a culture of respect and adherence to dress codes.
