Abstract

The Counterfeit Product Detection System was developed to address the growing threat of online scammers and counterfeit products with fake logos that mislead consumers. Counterfeit items, which imitate genuine products, not only violate on intellectual property and copyright rights but also affect consumer trust and brand credibility. The goal of this project is to create a solid methodology that uses advanced machine-learning algorithms to successfully recognize and prevent the spread of fake logos. The suggested method requires precisely extracting distinguishing logo attributes, followed by the development of a classifier capable of distinguishing between legitimate and counterfeit logos. Extensive testing on a wide dataset of both authentic and false logos demonstrates the algorithm's usefulness, providing a noteworthy accuracy rate.
