Abstract

This paper presents and assess a framework for an engineering final year project research topic. This project explain what is the project about, the methodology of the project, the data range of the project and also data analysis of the project. This paper focusing on the fixed dihedral angle with different angle of attack of the plane crashing towards the ocean. The mainly focused data that needed to be collect is the forces and moment of the project. This project specifically comment on that two variable and focusing on finding the dihedral wing will disintegrate or not. Quality is most important instead of quantity. The data obtain at the end of the research can be further develop with other different software besides the one using in this project which is Solidworks. The research is focusing on the aircraft crash landing into the ocean with different angle of attack from 0 degree, -5 degree, -10 degree, and -15degree.
