Abstract
The global energy crisis has highlighted the important of renewable energy, especially solar energy. Street light take a significant portion of energy consumption in the world. Hence replacing the conventional street light system powered by the utility grid with solar energy and with the automated dimming adjustment function, can significantly reduce energy consumption and address energy crisis. The simplest model of automatic solar street light was connected on a breadboard and some test was carried out to improve the project.
