Abstract
This project addresses the need for a cost-effective and space-saving alternative to traditional digital advertisements by designing a rotary signboard using Persistence of Vision (POV) technology with Arduino. The main goal is to create a system that displays clear and dynamic text and graphics while in motion, integrating high-performance LEDs for bright, durable performance and ensuring easy programming for content updates. The design involves a rotary mechanism powered by a DC motor, synchronized with LEDs controlled by an Arduino to create the POV effect, making the images appear stationary. The methodology includes circuit design, microcontroller programming, and optimizing LED arrangement to maximize visual clarity, while adhering to electronic standards for safety and reliability. The project concludes that the rotary signboard is a practical, adaptable, and economical solution for modern advertising needs, offering a versatile and engaging display method with potential for further enhancements.
