Abstract

Nowadays, many online shoppers, particularly older users, face difficulties navigating and using poorly designed websites with cluttered interfaces and confusing features. To address this issue, we propose developing a user friendly and highly functional clothing web application. This proposed system will simplify the online shopping experience, making it more accessible and convenient for all users, especially those less familiar with technology. Additionally, the proposed system offers enhanced features and a streamlined interface, setting it apart from other clothing websites. The main modules that I responsible and completed are Product List, Comment and Rating, Wishlist, Cart and Notification Module. In this project, the software process model that we choose to use is an incremental model. This is because the incremental model is flexible and it makes the system easier to test and debug. The fact gathering method that we choose is an online questionnaire by using Google Form. Unit testing, integration testing, system testing and user acceptance testing are also done in the testing phase. The strengths of the proposed system include a user-friendly and consistent interface, which enhances the overall user experience. It enables users to easily view discounted prices, allows administrators to notify users through an email notification feature, and provides a seamless process for users to add products to their Wishlist or Cart. However, a notable weakness of the system is that email notifications may experience slight delays during transmission.
