Abstract
This project aims to develop SuperNormal, a Virtual Reality (VR) social deduction game that introduces multiplayer modes and immersive gameplay features. The problem it addresses is the lack of VR support and multiplayer options in existing social deduction games, such as SpyParty. SuperNormal enhances this genre by incorporating VR and new multiplayer modes (1v1, 2v2), enabling players to identify superhuman characters (SuperNormies) hiding among NPCs using their special abilities while being observed by Normies. The scope of the project includes designing a VR-compatible game with core modules like character behavior, superhuman abilities, and multiplayer functionality. It also involves the creation of assets, character modeling, and integrating virtual reality elements. The methodology used is the Waterfall model, chosen for its structured approach, with phases such as requirements gathering, feasibility study, design, coding, and testing. Unity Game Engine and C# were employed for development, alongside Blender for asset creation.
