Abstract

In this project report, we use logistic regression analysis to study tuberculosis (TB) difficulties. The report is organized into five chapters. In Chapter 1, we discuss global tuberculosis (TB) statistics, forms of tuberculosis (TB), and the percentage of deaths caused by tuberculosis (TB). In Section 1 of Chapter 1, we defined tuberculosis (TB) and logistic regression analysis. In Section 2 of Chapter 1, the problem statement and objective of this tuberculosis (TB) analysis are presented. In Chapter 2, we refer to some summary conclusions from the other research papers. Some literature review related to tuberculosis (TB) and logistic regression is presented. In Chapter 3, we look at the techniques of the logistic regression model. In the first half of Chapter 3, we look at the logistic regression model, its assumptions, and the software tool IBM SPSS Statistics 30 and Jupyter, which was used to test the dataset for checking missing values and outliers, and also provide the results. In the second half of Chapter 3, data collection and requirements are discussed. In Chapter 4, we show the key findings from the dataset obtained by SPSS. In Section 1 of Chapter 4, we reviewed the assumptions for logistic regression analysis before proceeding. In Section 2 of Chapter 4, we analyze the major results and remove the least significant predictor factors until the model contains only significant predictor variables. We also assessed the importance of each model after deleting specific predictor variables. In Chapter 5, we give the conclusion of the analysis as well as ideas for future improvements.
