Abstract
TINTA is relcetion of my journey with batik, where each fabric is created by hand treated as a painting. Every design in this collection is produced using the canting technique, carefully drawn line by and colored through a layered dyeing process. From the first wax outline to the final colour application. The collection draws inspiration from the elegance of the baju kebaya, reimagined into modern ready-to-wear silhouettes. By combining traditional batik canting with contemporary forms. TINTA expresses a balance between heritage and modern identity where art, culture, and wearability come together in each garment.
