Abstract
Regulation of body temperature is always a very essential point to ensure a healthy, energetic body and lifestyle for all of us. However, due to there are different countries with unpredictable weathers and different seasons, it seems to be very difficult for all us to fully adapt to a new environment’s temperature change. In that case, introducing Smart Vest with Integrated Temperature, Heating and Cooling Systems. The vest not only function as an ordinary vest, but it also uses the Internet of Things (IoT) technology to comfort the wearers. This vest using the heating pads and cooling fans, collaborating with the temperature detected system inserted in it, it is able to automatically detect the surrounding temperature. Using the ESP32 microcontroller that controls the MLX90614 infrared temperature sensors, the vest detects the surrounding temperature and sends the signal to the UI. The UI will display the current surrounding temperature, and turn on the pads or fans depends on the temperature value. All in all, the Smart Vest has sucessfully deliver its function and comfort the users in many aspects. The prototype also achieve the Sustainable Goal 3 (SDG3), good health and well-being.
