Abstract

Technology has made a huge impact on society that becomes a necessity to most of the people especially mobile phone. With the mobile phone, everyone is able to connect to each other no matter how far the distance is, as long as they are in the network coverage boundaries. However, mobile application has become a very important role that provides various functions and features toward certain needs. The purpose of this application which is serves as a medium for the company’s clients to promote their businesses and services, as well as providing guide to local and foreign tourists. Besides, we also aim to reduce the printing of current brochures which have limited advertising space, instead, to create a platform which has infinite advertising space to promote clients’ businesses. This application needs two platform to perform which is front end system and back end system. The front end system is to serve the end user while the back end system is used for staff to update the details. The main development tool used in this project is Eclipse IDE which support java language and Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 which support VB.Net. Besides, MYSQL is used for database server and IBM Rational software to design the UML diagrams. The project has achieved the satisfaction of the project supervisor due the main function and components of the project have mainly developed.
