Abstract

Time Management System was proposed to make human life easy and well scheduled so that all tasks that need to be done can be done on time and would not miss any important task. This system is so smart to analyse user data and suggests suitable time tables to user so that user can fully utilize his time to handle all the things effectively. It is quite a difficult task for a people to write out a time table that manage to handle all the task especially when it comes to lecturer who wants to plan his time table for his students where all students all from different programme. Besides that, this system also can find suitable venues for this lecturer to teach his class based on number of total student who need to attend to that particular subject no matter it is practical class or lecture class. Contribution of this system allow human to have an effective lifestyle with all jobs done and stay out of stress. This Time Management System is a system that arrange time table for lecturers automatically by just importing files with data and click one OK button. This system allow lecturers to have the best solution to all lecturers to have their time table optimized for all the subjects and not even one class would crash to each other for the venue. Besides that, lecturers can easily to find a class for replacement when there is a cancellation of class so that students can catch up the syllabus of study without any missed class by using this Time Management System. Background information: This Time Management system consists of few modules only which are, Artificial Intelligent module, Excel Integration module, Export module, and Database module. This idea was dicussed with Dr Chong since we have no idea what to do at the starting of this final year project. He told us that every programme leader in Tunku Abdul Rahman University College facing a problem that is class scheduling. So we think of an automation system that can analyse all the data and generate a reliable time table for all lecturers and tutors. After receiving this task, we have been doing research on the time management and understanding more about artificial intelligent. In this project, the requirement gathering stage is done by us with questionnaire and interview techniques, we did modified some requirements to simplify the system and produce prototype of the Time Management system. Dr Chong gave us feedback on system improvement so that the system is able to work perfectly and generate a reliable result. Methodology: To describe the methodology, tools, techniques and models that are used throughout the project Results and Conclusion: Lecturer can generate a new time table on a new semester with course codes that only for that particular semester. A non preferred time would not be arranged for classes and a balance of credit hours for all the lecturers. Second time or more time table generating is possible if first time table output is not satisfied
