Abstract

“Thirstfest” is a fast-paced 3D multiplayer first person shooter game that allows player to battle with each other and also dealing with betrayal of the other players in order to be the last one standing. The game is scripted in C# with Unity3D. The objective of this report is to document development methodology, development process and lessons learned while developing the game. Several technical modules such as networking, game input, player design, weapon design, GUI, level design, Weapon & Character animations are covered in this report. The prototype methodology was used to develop this project. There are several problems faced while developing this game. Such as the lack of network features in connecting the game in local area network. Some other problem such as the lack of weapon design is found in the project. Our aim for this game is to encourage players to communicate with each other. However, we still find out that there are certain players who never wanted to form alliance with others, they just will play the game as a lone figure which goes against our goal
