Abstract

The business service providers such as clinics, barber shop or massage centre are having problem to directly connect to their consumers through any logical communication channel. Consumers are having difficulty to search for the service that they need and which is located near to their current location. Sometime, consumers need to wait for their turns when they walk in to the shop. Therefore, the solution is Bookink, a mobile application that connect the service providers to the consumers. Bookink allows service providers to promote their services through this application. The customers are able to view the services that are available near their current location and make an appointment for the service. After enjoying the service, the consumers can comment on the services so that the quality of the services provided can be reviewed by other users. This project is very innovative and it is a totally new idea. This type of logical communication channel via mobile between service providers and consumers is not exist before. Mainly, the tool that is used to develop mobile platform is Android Studio while Sublime Text for the web platform. We have conducted Software Performance Testing and Penetration Testing to ensure the system is functional, the proposed functions are working properly and secure from common known vulnerability. This project have given the author opportunity in learning multiple knowledge and skills that used in the real system development environment such as Webpage Laravel PHP Framework, Mobile Android Studio Development and Web Page Deployment.
