Abstract
The rapid growth of mobile apps in recent years has provide the various services to the user. More people nowadays are prefer using social application to communicate over mobile phone services that need pay per use. Most of the teenagers have their own social account. So, a new mobile social application named CONNECT is proposed to provide user new better user-interface and less complexity compared to other apps. The purpose of this project is to develop a mobile social networking application let user able to chat with their friends. Our apps will let user able to send message and share status to their friends. To deliver a high usability and performance mobile SNS application that satisfy user satisfaction to the users, the software development approach must be choose wisely and it must be suitable for the development of the mobile SNS application. In this project, after having a discussion with my partner, we decided to use waterfall model to develop the mobile SNS application. The strength of our project is user can chat and share status, picture and video to their friends. User can like and share their friend’s status and picture. User will receive new notification when there is new incoming messages. Besides, there is admin that will manage report from user and maintain it.
