Abstract

There were some problems that always faced by the construction industry was factors productivity for construction site. Some of the factors productivity cause the construction was delay without following the actual schedule. There were limited potential areas for the productivity improvement or the construction operation. However, the increase of productivity of the construction, there were some action need to be taken to improvement productivity. Therefore, it was important to increase productivity for construction site, while maintaining the construction industry growth. The aim for this dissertation was to determine the factors and improvement productivity construction for commercial building at construction site. The objectives were to identify the factors that influence productivity in construction project and to identify the potential areas for productivity improvement in construction commercial building. The actions could be taken would be the proper planning and better management to achieve the higher productivity before the construction start.For this dissertation, the desk research to get the hard facts such as books, newspapers and others. Research was carried out to gather the information and data from the industry through interviews and questionnaires. However, after carry out this dissertation, the proper planning and management of encouraging locals to involve in the industry was the most effective way for the action to taken. In addition, better coordination labours, materials, plants, and equipments would be the action to taken for productivity improvement. As a result, actions could be taken in management and planning in order to improvement the construction productivity.
