This study aims to study the relationship between conflict resolution styles and relationship satisfaction in romantic relationship. For many years, the key to achieving the satisfaction in the relationship has dominated the discussion by the public. Hence, a total of 146 college students who were 86 of females and 60 of males participated in this study. The participants were required to complete the demographic data, Conflict Resolution Styles Inventory (CRSI) and Relationship Assessment Scale (RAS). The results showed hypothesis 1 is supported, that is individual who scores high in positive problem solving has the tendency score high on relationship satisfaction. Hypothesis 2 is not supported; there is negative relationship between conflict engagement and relationship satisfaction. Hypothesis 3 is supported, that is withdrawal styles lead to additional conflict issues and tend to have lower relationship satisfaction. Hypothesis 4 is not supported, that is excessive compliance associated with lower relationship satisfaction.
