Abstract

In this project, the fabrication of a wall climbing robot has been carried out by using knowledge applied from various subjects. The whole detailed process was presented from the beginning of literature review to the fabrication process and from calculations process to the final result which is shown in detailed chapters. Advancement of technology is one of the undeniable factors that happen in our society daily. No matter from household appliances or gadgets that we use everyday which helps us to live in a better and comfortable life. But some of the technologies are yet to be created to solve human problems. Hence there is a need to develop a new robot that can be multitasking for all this problems. One of the possible solutions is to enhance an RC Car with a wall suction device which provide it with the capability to reach high places or even used in rescue mission. With this multitasking wall climbing robot, it can be modified to be cleaner machine or even installed with webcam to reach those places that are unreachable by human. In this project, the results obtained from various calculations and materials findings shows the optimum solutions to the fabrication of the prototype. These analysis and findings may also help to improve the design for future references.
