Abstract
This project is to fabricate a thermal lunch box. The purpose to construct and fabricate this thermal lunch box is to improve the lifestyle of human by extending the freshness of the food consumed and to be able to warm up the food at a set temperature so that it will not become stale. The thermal lunch box is simple and user friendly. The prototype is programmed to cut off power when the temperature reached the set limit of 40 C. The thermostatic effect makes the lunch box more useful and lasting. The experimental results obtained shows that I am able to achieve the objectives which had been set in the beginning of the project. However some errors in the programming part did not allow the prototype to function properly as planned. Modification and testing were done to obtain optimum result. As a conclusion, this project has been completed successfully on time in spite of knowledge and cost constraints. Further improvements are needed for a better and more innovative thermal lunch box.
