Abstract

On this project which is aimed to build the 3D RGB LED Cube to display, along with a number of accompanying application. The display consisted of a cube of 64 individually controllable ultra-bright LEDs hand-soldered into a lattice, and it was intended to demonstrate some of the capabilities that a tme 3D display has over 2D representations of 3D objects. This project which is aim to develop an attractive advertisement display such as television and it may to improve human lives' environment and entertainment. The application built includes displaying the color motion in 3D form. A PICI 8F452 microcontroller is used to control the whole system. The PICI 8F452 is chosen as a control unit of the RGB LED cube because it has a higher store space in program memory, higher rate program speed and enough pin to control 64 pin RGB LEDs. Moreover, Microchip C18 language is chosen due to the friendly instruction rule an specify for 18F family's microcontroller. In the conclusion arising from this aspect of the design process, and from the rest of the project, are presented at the end of the report.
