Abstract

The title for this project called Secure Wireless Payment System utilizing Bluetooth Technology. It is a payment system which enables user to make payment through their mobile phone with a high security protection protecting the user's personal details. This payment system consists of two main parts, the server and the client which is the mobile application. In order to provide a high security level of protection for this wireless payment system, asymmetric cryptography method will be used to encrypt and decrypt the data send and receive between the server and the client. Therefore, it would be useless for any third party trying to steal the data as they won't be able to decrypt the data within it. To further enhance the security level, the Bluetooth ID in each user mobile phone was utilized as the user identity. This can be done due to Bluetooth ID is unique and different for each and every mobile phone. However, the Bluetooth ID is just one of the three requirements used to identify the client's identity. Client's account number and activation code are needed as well. As for the server system, its main purpose is to manage the client's reload and payment transactions. Besides that, it also serves as the registration counter for new clients. On the other hand, the few functions that are available in the mobile application are such as Personal Details, Payment History, Payment, Reload and About.
