Abstract

This thesis presents the design, construction and fabricate of the Screw Separation Machine. The main objective of the Screw Separation Machine is to ease the workers in the industry and improve the efficiency of the screw separation result. In order to design and fabricate the prototype I had research from the internet and reference books are necessarily carried out. During the fabrication process, there are some important factors such as financial constraint, lack of technical skills and knowledge were taken into consideration. A prototype for the Screw Separation Machine is fabricated and assembled and followed up by the implementation and regulating its rotation with optimal performance. Several experiments are conducted, confirming according to the engineer design. The testing of the prototype is in optimal condition and the result had been recorded during the process. As a conclusion, the Screw Separation Machine was completed successfully. It performs well as author expects. There are some limitations such as time, financial and technical skill during the fabrication of this prototype. Therefore, there still have some improvement can be modified in the design that can be done in the future.
