Abstract

A labelling machine is invented to speed up the progress of manual labelling especially for the large production company. However, the existing labelling are very complex in term of design and functions. When the design is complex, the cost will definitely be higher and for some company it will be a large investment for them. Besides that, we found out that most of the labelling machine are not as efficient as it suppose. A few common problem that will always occur is the label got stuck at the label peeler or the timing of the product and label will change when there are large amount coming in. Therefore, our aim of carrying out this project is to design a labelling machine that will solve most of the problems that was mention above by designing a simplify version of the usual labelling machine but with better efficiency and low in cost. We will also fabricate our prototype from scratch according to our design. Most part of our prototype will be made by aluminium. We will be buying raw material and machine it by our self in TAURC workshop, using lathe, drill, mill, and cutting machine. We also make use of 3D-printer available to us to print some part of our prototype to save more time and energy. After every part is done, we will assemble every part together to complete our prototype. We will then begin testing our prototype and troubleshoot any problem that occur during the process to achieve the best results.
