Abstract

The main objective of this project is to design and fabricate a label dispensing sys tem and install it on the broom stick machine at the Everyday Brush Sdn Bhd. The main function of the label dispensing system is to dispense and peel off the sticker for th e sticker to stick on the broom stick. In the beginning timeline of the project, the analysis problem statement and related research is done. After that, the label dispensing system is designed. The design is sketched and draw by SolidWorks software with the assists of his project partner. The appropriate materials for prototype fabrication are sourced. Al l the materials and components selected in this prototype have to meet the specific requirement such as durability, cost and strength. T he design of the label dispensing system has change for a few time due to some limitation. Hence the structure of the la bel dispensing system is redesigned. This project is consists two main system which are the label dispensing system and the rolling mechanism which is done by the project partner, All two system are control by PLC control panel. After combine the rolling m echanism that designed by project partner, the prototype is tested. In the end of project, the prototype is completed in time and functioned as expected.
