Abstract

Due to the wreck-in robbery cases always happened around Malaysia makes security product become a new trend but these merchandises are expensive. The aim of project is to improve security level of a person’s residence by using lower budget and without damage the door. The main component used in my project is Arduino Uno, LCD display, and fingerprint scanner. The modern tool that used in this project is Arduino IDE, SolidWorks, Microsoft Project, KiCad and Latex Editor while the tool used is soldering iron and hot glue gun. The main function of the fingerprint security lock is the lock retracted back to unlock the door when the recorded fingerprint is detected or the passcode is entered correctly. If there are people near to the lock, the LCD display will bright up and shown the message according to program or else the LCD display will enter “sleep mode”. The result that obtained is exactly same as the result that expected
